One causes a discussion while the other causes a concussion.*
you can take action sure, but if that action violates someone elses right to something (living without being injured or killed over a word) thats an issue
I thought it was funny.
And freedom to speak is allowed as long as you aren't calling to arms
Freedom to bear arms only when in self defense
Bare*
So, I'd suggest you go maybe read up on the constitution. We don't have a "Freedom to Murder" right. Trying to shift the argument to freedom of expression isn't going to work and is actually a huge flaw. I have the freedom to cut my arm off. I don't have the freedom to harm another and cut another's arm off. My freedom of action stops when it harms another.
Absolute freedom is freedom to do as you please, without police without government however any person with common sense will tell you that society cant function that way so some "freedoms" are violated as a means of protecting society and people, the principle is the same for speech, a tolerant society cannot function with blatant intolerance, discrimination and abuse
We dont have that anyways tho
Even without hate speech laws <:KEK:726877368601411624>
Freedom is freedom to do as you please and not be intruded by someone else.
If you use your freedom to take someone else's freedom your violating their freedom
Yes we can. Just because we have freedom of speech doesn't mean people don't face non-governmental consequences from their speech. We just allow the speech. As Justice Brandeis said, "Sunlight is the best disinfectant" let the scum of the earth say their awful things and let society treat them accordingly.
I'm familiar with the U.S constitution I studied it, I'm not talking about it as you should be aware seeing as freedom of expression isnt protected in the U.S by the constitution formally, it is in the UK however which we were talking about

Yet people still fly swastikas despite them being in the light for so long?
Y'all got freedom of expression? But we don't?
How many people fly swastikas?
Explain
sure. i agree. you can never be free under the government. that being said, i think we differ on how much the government should be able to control us.
Seems like the UK has a Nazi problem then. Maybe you should work on your own people before you criticize the U.S.
How many businesses can get away with flying a swastika and still have customers?
Freedom of Expression isnt written in the U.S constitution @KingZapapple
@SmokyCopCar where have I said anything thats wrong about the U.S constitution?
I have yet to see ONE actual Nazi in the US and I've traveled from all 4 corners and meet the scums of society to the high and mighty
1st amendment <:KEKWait:780472182387376130>
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
@KingZapapple that doesnt list the freedom of expression
We don't need that law because we don't fly them?
actual german nazis have been deported from the US or executed/imprisoned
You literally just said you've seen one @KingZapapple
Ye and the few I've met who claimed they are , arnt very threatening
Soo in ur world america is full of flaming nazis apparently
None who fly the swastika
And making that illegal would fix the imaginary problem
<:KEK:726877368601411624>
And why should they be banned in the U.S.? See, a flag is freedom of speech as well, as the Supreme Court has already ruled, when allowing people to burn the U.S. Flag. That being said, as the people who live in America have been saying, we don't see Nazi flags throughout our country.
apparently maybe 3000 people out of 330 million is a lot \
I doubt there even are that many.
And those 3k are mostly bikers who could care less about a law banning swastikas
