exactly. having an education doesn't mean you're necessarily smart and/or smarter. i think we should judge each other on the merits
Dude, you’re taking art history way too seriously.
Maybe
Honestly its ridiculous, some of the smartest people I know didn't finish high-school or went to a trade school
Education is about memorization, not about true intelligence. The more you can parrot, the better.
I am glad you’re not angry though. I thought it was a pretty well laid joke. If not a bit cruel
I will say it puts the behavior of people now into great context when viewed through the lense of art from the great plague

Ok yeah so I’ll admit, a bit of art history is fascinating
But considering people already fail to understand the true history of the world and attempt to rewrite I have no problem with taking art history seriously
Especially during times of strife
I love y'all 💕
Here’s the problem. It’s hard to rewrite history that’s based around written and drawn works.
definitely. that is the case with me right now. i'm in uni right now and the distance learning just makes the "marks" seem more worthless
1984 is already a reality
@VulpesVulpes Nazis would disagree
If you want the history of the world, read the mythology
Hi
Nazis are a bad example because that’s past a point where the amount of education someone has doesn’t matter, it’s 2+2=5, or die.
Its all there. Just cut out the crazy stuff 😂
Oh I do. I have.. way too many books atm.
Which one is your fave?
That would be rewriting history through force and destruction
And that ... isn’t what the Nazis did?
What
I think book burnings in the street count as force and destruction don’t You?
The Nazis certainly tried to push the narrative in their favor
Yes thats why I said thats what the Nazis did lmao
When you have a thousand children you can't pick a favorite. But im reading colour right now, which is a history of.. how pigments have evolved
Then if I’m already killing and burning and destroying, why does you knowing art history help preserve history in any way?
That sounds very interesting.
Hi
Because the art is being destroyed
?
Y y always causing BEEF
Art being destroyed makes me.. very angry
Art history is kinda pointless if the art is all destroyed isn’t it?
There aren't really words for how mad it makes me. Like.. murderous
That’s how I feel when I see historical artifacts or buildings being destroyed
Honestly, I lump most of that under art. My favorite class ever was a history of architecture
