I think in place of some of the over taught history courses, where you learn the same piece of history every year, they should discuss the U.S. political system and the atmosphere of the political field. It is sad how few people know anything about the political system. Almost as bad is the teaching, or lack thereof, about finances and how to handle your own finances. I think a lot of voters are uninformed at this point.
