currently I have another really young sister, shes around 4 years old, and she was watching one

I walked into the living room for a few seconds

and the animation was pure garbage

i watched paw patrol with my younger brother

a couple years ago

the backgrounds looked so fuzzy you couldn't tell what was back there

they went woke to, took out the police dog

also the character models moved in such uncanny robotic ways

I watch animated stuff. Partly with the kids, partly on my own. And crappy animation tends to lead me to the off button

Fortunately I did grow up with some of the Pixar movies

which are actually really great even as you grow up

Most animated movies throw in adult humor as a nod to the people that are paying to see it with their kids

i always enjoy that, obscure references the young kids wouldnt get

And animators are a twisted bunch when it comes to humor

Most of what I watch with my parents is "kid's movies". Only way to get stuff that isn't laced with nudity and heavy profanity.

They are enjoyable for both older audiences and children, which is probably why they're so great

Some of them really stick out like a sore thumb though.
