and industry sadly is ass kissing all the time

not that it doesnt exist in academia

but industry is #1 at that

I like being able to work hard

I dont like working too hard

If you can manage it

Having a high degree is going to be important

i guess it depends on the person.

and i agree that PhDs are not for everybody

My best friend is really driven

Dude worked his ass off at a top uni

Then couldn't deal with the biz

And started a restaurant that does well

Motivated/fast learners will do well regardless

on undergraduate many people wanted to do one. When graduating many prefer to go directly to industry.

I wanna do college

Which is different from uni

In my country

College is practical

Uni is empirical
