I must say from my experience at the Capitol today, it appears that the police were withdrawn from the building before the march. There was practically no security, no barricades, no bike cops, nothing. Last march had a lot more security just hanging around in random places and miles of barricade.
So many on the right insist on ignoring that 81m people felt differently than the 74m that voted for Trump. Despite a massive amount of money given to him to prove fraud, they have been unable to produce enough evidence to get a single arrest.
Another situation where Trump's efforts failed to produce any evidence of fraud, but his supporters continue to believe...

Fortunately, that's not how this works... Biden does not have to prove he won - the election did that. If there is proof of fraud, make arrests. Law enforcement does not need permission to investigate crimes.

It's interesting.... Both sides use the same tactics. BLM protesters claimed that right wing agitators were instigating violence over the summer. Now, people on the right are making the opposite claims.
It's interesting that the right can blame bad actor instigators for tricking them into over running the building that Trump told them to over run. Which is it... are they patriots trying to prevent a stolen election or lemmings that can't help but follow along and do what the group is doing?
There were no worries for Biden's supporters once Pence announced that he would not recognize alternative electors sent by Republicans in AZ. It was all over at that point... especially when McConnell stated that he would not vote to uphold the objection. At that point, Trump tweeted that Pence betrayed him and the crowd rushed the building. This did not benefit Biden at all.
Biden was the only beneficiary.
Neither the left or the right are impervious to mob mentality. All it takes is some agitators and bad decisions.
