just use protectedtexts and safe everything in 0s and 1s <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
I'd avoid google just for the purpose of not having all my data with one company
but as tervy said, why not backblaze? seems good enough if you only want to backup and not browse
$50 a year
not bad
Best case would be something with any FUSE compatible protocol so I can see the files. Just seeing files names doesn't really help since I want to occasionally download single photos to share them
Backblaze seems web only
For Google and Dropbox there are hacky FUSE implementations
There's also this, I called them on Friday and they said I can use rsync and other protocols like smb on it. But, no web interface
Which is ok. SMB > web interface

De government are fucked by US gov, any subpoenas against your servers and you won't be getting that data back
👋 😊
I think I'll nap more rip
I just uploaded a few photos to Google to see how it is
While it doesn't override the original photo it's a fun function
Also it auto tags with ai
If I search "Asian girl" in my non sorted photos, I get all results of my gf
Example of auto edited photo by Google
Looks Instagram tier
that is a dreadful photo
Basically Google adds an hdr effect and asks if you like it kek
The original of this one looks much better
Here's the original
Y it also gathers pictures taken together on trips or sth
If u have location open
can't make a map tho
