From my knowledge there is no one size fits all when it comes to software development

no it's not bad. It's just one of many different styles of management that basically boil down to "give positive reinforcement, listen to your employees and do somethign with their feedback"

Scrum works if the project is not very complex / technical and when you have a lot of non technical stakeholders to please

So you make only client testable user stories

For example

Isn't Scrum basically when you want something ASAP

In a tech start up, that would be bullshit

And the other when you want something that holds a quality is more complex
