I feel like a prisoner for not being able to buy a real gun without a physical and mental evaluation and "valid reason" to do so

Valid reason is something like "living in a dangerous neighborhood" or "going on business trips at night" and having no other option but to get a gun

I bought my shotgun for 200 off a family friend, but thanks to FL I don't have to register it, and state law allows personal sale

Without those requirements, the most devastating weapon I can buy is airsoft

Just say you live in a dangerous neighborhood and they already beat you up etc etc
