If they want to reduce carbon all we have to do is bring back aerosols but limit what aerosolized particles can be used(non toxic only)

The conservatives I know prefer locally-sourced, high-quality, long-lasting and repairable products. The progressives seem to prefer made-in-China cheap stuff that has to be shipped, and is of such low quality it does not last.

I love asking liberals to give on criticism of Obama or Biden now. I always say I wish Trump cared for environment a little more

2020-12-02 20:34:44 UTC

So brainwashed they can’t

2020-12-02 20:35:39 UTC

I for one welcome our Black Metal ice age

2020-12-02 20:35:46 UTC

I work in a restaurant. Food waste is insane from customers

2020-12-02 20:36:33 UTC

Its the same in the schools. It pisses me off

2020-12-02 20:36:37 UTC

Agreed. Part of that must do away with throw-away culture, in my opinion.

2020-12-02 20:37:01 UTC

*several people are typing*

2020-12-02 20:37:02 UTC

Or like we fry tortilla chips in house. Good for maybe 36 hours. Which is try because otherwise they do go stale

2020-12-02 20:37:06 UTC

Waste and disposability are cultural values that can change for better or worse.

2020-12-02 20:37:27 UTC

Our old fry oil is picked up by a company that turns it into bio fuel

2020-12-02 20:37:31 UTC

Yah we all need to do better thats why im starting a grow america program over the next 2 years to teach ppl how to grow and reuse everything.

2020-12-02 20:38:22 UTC

It’s always the little things to

2020-12-02 20:39:01 UTC

I have 6 pairs of shoes. One of them are shit. 3 are every day. Work boots and flip flops

2020-12-02 20:39:10 UTC

2020-12-02 20:40:15 UTC

Glad to be here with my people. <:poggers:577213092673355796>

2020-12-02 20:43:13 UTC

Its not how many you have its what you do with the shoes that you cant wear, trow them out or find a purpose

2020-12-02 20:44:21 UTC

Having multiple pairs of shoes seems fine since each additional pair extends the life of the rest. They only wear by... err. wearing..

2020-12-02 20:45:47 UTC

@Sinnamon Type Beat welcome. Please read the rules & enjoy the shit show

2020-12-02 20:46:28 UTC

Purchase shoes that are bio degradable nike has a program for this we should push other companies to do the same

2020-12-02 20:46:34 UTC

I did King dw

2020-12-02 20:46:52 UTC

@jday1516 Nike are overpriced kapernick trash

2020-12-02 20:47:22 UTC

Yes agreed but push other better co to try making shoes bio degrade faster

2020-12-02 20:49:30 UTC

I work outside year round in all weather conditions. I need durability & toughness.

Biodegradable isn't what I'm after

2020-12-02 20:49:38 UTC

I like red wings

2020-12-02 20:53:34 UTC

I feel like the soles lasted longer than my other shoes I've worn over the years. But after a year of pushing carts on asphalt, they are now smooth as one would expect. They're 4 years old anyway and falling apart

2020-12-02 20:55:51 UTC

Yea I got steel toe boots

2020-12-02 20:56:06 UTC

Yes the idea is durability vs cost vs bio degradability

2020-12-02 20:56:23 UTC

All that has to be balanced

2020-12-02 20:56:39 UTC

I like new balance

2020-12-02 20:57:54 UTC

Im size 13 so i get most of mine at walmart because they are cheap, no sense spending $50 for shoes that last 2 months than obliterated when i can spend $15

2020-12-02 20:58:23 UTC

I used to have a pair of new balance shoes growing up

2020-12-02 20:58:44 UTC

6,4 & 300pounds i go through all shoes reay fast
