Or hillbillies as people call them today

Were ancestors of the scott irish

After the scottish Civil War the scottish were forced to move to Ireland

Where they became mixed with the Irish

They were treated something awful disliked by those around them and didn't feel like it was home to them

They moved to America hoping to find a new life

And get away from the monarch bastards

And moved to the secluded mountains where barely anyone else lived because of the rugged terrain

Except some German farmers and very few English

They brought with them their music and their love for alcohol xD

There music today is what you might know as blue grass

Which is kinda where country music came from tbh
