Trade school might be a better path to at least look into, generally costs less and tends to give skills that apply towards real careers out there in the job market.

you won't even get a interview for most jobs nowadays if you don't have a college degree

there are jobs that you can make decent money off of like a car mechanic, plumber, electrician

you don't need a college degree for those

just go to trade school

if you really need to go to college though, go to the cheapest one that you know you can do well in

i made a mistake of going to a college way above my intelligence so i really struggled

i had to put in 200% of my energy just to get a B
