To consider someone an enemy means you summon enough anger to see someone through Satan's eyes. So in that sense, instead, seeing people in a fallen state should compel you to show them the way, but not make them enemies to do so. If they don't learn, they'll have to suffer through their confusion.

the children of the lie are the enemy, they will try to play on your emotions to make you pity them and tolerate their lies. Let not your eye pity them, or avert your eyes from them, whichever you can do in the situation
