To consider someone an enemy means you summon enough anger to see someone through Satan's eyes. So in that sense, instead, seeing people in a fallen state should compel you to show them the way, but not make them enemies to do so. If they don't learn, they'll have to suffer through their confusion.

the children of the lie are the enemy, they will try to play on your emotions to make you pity them and tolerate their lies. Let not your eye pity them, or avert your eyes from them, whichever you can do in the situation

Jesus is his Word of Truth, formed by his Holy Breath, his Holy Spirit

Those that love the truth will be set free and be sons of God

People are not the problem; the culture, and the actions thereof are. Which is why it is said to hate the sin, love the sinner. Focusing attention on that which permeates the culture is what will win the spiritual battle.

Yes I would, because even the enemy needs to see I am willing to lay down my "wants", ego and riches to show the right way.
