i went over every crusade years ago and now ive pretty much forgot everything about them, i start rereading about them yesterday. have you ever heard of the siege of acre in the third crusade? that shit was utterly retarded. the muslims offered to surrender 3 times to the christians and they refused all three times because they wanted "a great epic siege of the city". the whole destruction of the byzantine empire and sacking of Constantinople was super cringe too.
