i miss the Chesapeake Bay area though, some of the best times on my life as a kid was out boating on the bay

I ended up sailing down to Virginia because of this assholeness. In Virginia I found out the Mason-Dixon line still separates attitudes. Everyone north of Virginia is an asshole. The further north you go, the more assholes people are. Less racist, but more assholish.

The further south you go, the more racist people are, but the nicer they are

I left Back Creek and stopped anchoring out in front of Burt Jabin's marina and made it down to the intracoastal waterway in North Carolina

My motor fell off the boat at the Alligator river bridge

I made it without a motor about 180 miles and got stuck at a marina near the outer banks of N.C.

Our first day in North Carolina we sailed into Coinjock and as we pulled up to the docks, there was a redneck fisherman with a shotgun
