General Grant owned slaves

Ok. I'm tired of this.
the exception is Truman vs Dewey which Ohio voted Dewey
Ohioans techncially created Uncle Tom, the fictional black man in Harriet Beecher Stowe's anti-slavery novel Uncle Tom's Cabin. Stowe moved to Ohio when she became a writer and influenced by Ohio's ultra-Christian movements as the state was a major Underground Railroad state and base of the abolitionist movement, and then later a bulwark of the Union in the Civil War providing many common soldiers and many of the top generals. Grant is famous, but realyl Sherman was most skilled, both Ohioans.
