Only example I could see it working out is if you have BT in your PC/Laptop or at a party to connect music from phone to speakers

Which kinda is still far fetched imo as both cases have headphone jack to support it, unless you have a new phone which thought that headphone jack is useless

or you have iems with a custom short cable and you use that combo while working out or doing other active stuff instead of having it dangle all the way to your phone
