The jury are more prone to making irrational judgments out of line with precedence.
I'm not advocating to go threaten em, what I'm saying is that people are pressuring em.
depends on the humans. Study indicate a bimodal curve. Some humans buckle down on their ideals under pressure. The other cohort goes with the crowd factor
And if I recall, you cannot appeal a trial by jury, I could be wrong though. Not at least the verdict itself.
the jury only determines guilty or not guilty, right?
in your system?
It's a bit more complicated than that.
But generally it's faux pas to bring up acquittal.
That sucks tbh
i see
Based on what you know rn, what're the odds he walks?
impossible to calculate
So both are likely?
One is more likely than the other.
It's by no means a sure thing though.
Which is which
@D EMC, you just advanced to level 8!
Not guilty.
Pray for rittenhouse
😂
based on forensic evidence alone, Chauvin should walk on a murder charge, but not on reckless endagerment. I am not - NOT - expecting that outcome.
Unlikely
Imagine the riots
exactly
Kenosha will look like a joke by comparison
but the forensic report is high quality and very clear.
But I wouldn't expect much more than 10 years
What's that female cops name?
She broke into the home of some black guy n shot him
ah, right. 😄
Cancerous
Police reform now please n thanks
For sure.
I don't think you'll find many disagree with that sentiment here.
Like this whole defend the police shit is dumb
the best way to better cops is: 1) selection 2) training
both are extremely expensive
But you need better training
I dont see that happening.
Look at how much money Germany has to spend on a small police force for training.
