I've seen terrible sources for days. I'm honestly of the opinion there are a bunch of purposeful dis-info. It's exactly what I would do. Spread surface level evidence about my purported fraud and then debunk it easily.

curing the ballots is where you have more than one poll worker watching, and they make the bubble darker so the machine can read it

it is done on bad ballots that the machine can't count

keeping in mind that is also auditable

because they can take a look later and see if there are two bubbles filled

(in most cases)

and I think they also mark who cured it
