Even if there were facts no way prove now.

2020-12-01 19:21:49 UTC

I was thinking about a blockchain voting system

2020-12-01 19:22:07 UTC

Fortunately, the stability comes from the wife, including medical coverage. I do fine, but in spurts.

2020-12-01 19:22:19 UTC

thats fair

2020-12-01 19:23:29 UTC

I find it hard to believe that Grandma would able to administer blockchain interface...

2020-12-01 19:24:10 UTC

The media feed data cannot be assumed to be consistent. It is not a direct link between the voting system to the media company. I think it's important to know how that data is gathered. The AP does the same thing as NEP. This is how the AP describes their data collection process: https://www.ap.org/en-us/topics/politics/elections/counting-the-vote

2020-12-01 19:24:46 UTC

CNN fact-check is an oxymoron.

2020-12-01 19:25:17 UTC

Blockchain is interesting and secure but how would you want it to apply to the voting system. Lots of times these days people say we need to use blockchain for that. Okay how we going to do that?

2020-12-01 19:25:25 UTC

Thinking about blockchain made me remember estonia

2020-12-01 19:25:53 UTC

Ah, I see your point. That makes sense to me. πŸ€”

2020-12-01 19:26:26 UTC

theres probably some articles about it I should track down if I find some extra time πŸ˜„

2020-12-01 19:26:35 UTC

I don't want to get attacked...

2020-12-01 19:26:37 UTC

But

2020-12-01 19:27:11 UTC

Blockchain seems like over engineering. What about in person paper ballots?

2020-12-01 19:27:46 UTC

The 20,000 votes you just keyed in for Trump were really for Biden

2020-12-01 19:27:56 UTC

Okay I'll fix that

2020-12-01 19:28:00 UTC

I can't remember if you commented on my suggestion on how to allow voters to securely review their ballots while keeping their anonymity - or, at least, making it harder to violate their anonymity...

2020-12-01 19:28:23 UTC

Okay Grandma with the md5 hash calculator

2020-12-01 19:28:31 UTC

What could go wrong

2020-12-01 19:29:09 UTC

Lol don’t hire grandma. πŸ‘΅

2020-12-01 19:29:25 UTC

No need for Grandma to hash anything... That's just part of the structure. Grandma just has to provide the Ballot ID.

2020-12-01 19:29:35 UTC

I know I'm just kidding

2020-12-01 19:29:37 UTC

Earlier Talon you were asking how folks show up and dump 20k votes into Dominion but then also have the paper ballots match beyond that difficult to pull off conundrum I am also curious how they fool the attendance numbers

2020-12-01 19:30:06 UTC

they cant be like 20,000 people showed up at 3 am election night

2020-12-01 19:30:10 UTC

Did you get my point about operator error

2020-12-01 19:30:33 UTC

Vote for X not for y

2020-12-01 19:30:46 UTC

better change that

2020-12-01 19:31:36 UTC

I have a fundamental mistrust of computer systems

2020-12-01 19:31:45 UTC

False sense of security

2020-12-01 19:32:09 UTC

Any software can be reverse-engineered if you have physical access to it

2020-12-01 19:32:18 UTC

And exploited

2020-12-01 19:32:51 UTC

That's why high-end software uses Hardware key dongles...

2020-12-01 19:33:10 UTC

The votes showing up at 3AM does not mean that was when they were cast... I am not sure of the logistics, but I believe that the first stage of tabulation occurs at the precinct and those are funneled up to the county. Since they are not supposed to do this online, I assume that there is a manual delivery of the tabulated votes to the county. If they added the precinct's votes at 3AM, that's when they would come through.

2020-12-01 19:33:20 UTC

Programmers love software

2020-12-01 19:33:21 UTC

in wayne county they had like 1.5m+ votes? and they freaked out there was a 300 odd disparity of votes between how many people come and voted and the precinct totals and nobody would have noticed if someone showed up and made massive dumps of all these fakes?

2020-12-01 19:33:36 UTC

And hate to pay money

2020-12-01 19:33:50 UTC

Rightfully so.

2020-12-01 19:34:29 UTC

I have adopted a strict policy of never stealing software... after decades of steel software

2020-12-01 19:34:41 UTC

I hate it when people steal my work
