Either that or he was using the cancer excuse to explain his odd actions.

2020-12-28 09:23:06 UTC

Doc came up with the cancer thing

2020-12-28 09:23:15 UTC

As part of his profile.

2020-12-28 09:23:59 UTC

Doesn’t seem like it’s an excuse if he thought he was terminal. His priorities changed.

2020-12-28 09:24:45 UTC

He also pivoted to the reason AT&t was targeted was because someone was injured by ATT and that seems to what the article above is indicating.

2020-12-28 09:25:59 UTC

Apparently, his Dad who died in 2010 worked for Bell South/AT&T.

2020-12-28 09:27:36 UTC

Maybe it wasn't excuse

2020-12-28 09:27:51 UTC

He had been thinking about this for a long time.

2020-12-28 09:27:57 UTC

I'm just saying that anyone can claim to have cancer. If someone seemed to be getting their affairs in order ahead of a criminal act and someone they know became suspicious, they can just say that they have cancer and people will understand. It will be interesting to see if a doctor will come forward to confirm the diagnosis.

2020-12-28 09:29:34 UTC

It doesn't seem like you would be able to create an explosion like that without practice.

2020-12-28 09:30:00 UTC

Or tangible knowledge with material sources.

2020-12-28 09:30:06 UTC

Fair enough

2020-12-28 09:30:41 UTC

To the man with a hammer, every problem is a nail.

2020-12-28 09:31:29 UTC

So you're saying the dude was sitting on loads of explosives?

2020-12-28 09:32:24 UTC

I am saying that whatever his motive, that he already had these expertise is a good assumption.

2020-12-28 09:32:54 UTC

Agree

2020-12-28 09:33:01 UTC

That's what I was saying too

2020-12-28 09:33:31 UTC

Like the guy who built the armored bulldozer, he was already a welder. He had the bulldozer and then it was just a matter of using his welding skills. I think only he died in that event also.

2020-12-28 09:34:32 UTC

Hey Did

2020-12-28 09:34:43 UTC

If I remember correctly he had some beef with some City official

2020-12-28 09:37:55 UTC

Or someone in the town

2020-12-28 09:38:03 UTC

Well the city officials were also the family that owned most the property and business. Honestly you really do see his point of view after watching the documentary where they interview everyone. You can tell straight away they are corrupt hustlers. But he should have just sold his stuff and went and traveled.

“Violence is the last resort of an incompetent man.”

An oversimplification for sure but a good rule of thumb. Once you make a person, community or organization your enemy, you must either finish it or submit to their authority. Choices I don’t care for 😂

2020-12-28 09:39:13 UTC

Probably best not to make too many enemies.

2020-12-28 09:39:54 UTC

It’s really the fact that war doesn’t end well even when it does that detracts me from wanting to make enemies

2020-12-28 09:39:55 UTC

I'm curious as to what explosives this guy was using?

2020-12-28 09:41:22 UTC

I doubt we will know for 6 months. I bet they keep it under wraps. The concern I have is the ease at which a bad state actor or non state actor could cause hysteria with copy cat bombings or hoaxes. And then the increased laws, surveillance and measures taken for “safety”.

2020-12-28 09:42:15 UTC

Anybody could do this anytime they want it?

2020-12-28 09:42:26 UTC

But why would they want to?

2020-12-28 09:42:31 UTC

Idk

2020-12-28 09:44:25 UTC

I mean other countries, domestic groups with agendas, like far left or far right, anyone who wants to heighten tension.

2020-12-28 09:44:52 UTC

9/11 really changed American attitudes. We are as fearless as we used to be I think.

2020-12-28 09:45:30 UTC

You're saying they do it because someone already did it? Not that they couldn't do it anytime this is just a good time.

2020-12-28 09:45:59 UTC

I bet AT&t I'll spend a lot of money hardening their facilities that are close to streets.

2020-12-28 09:49:36 UTC

I think it’s just an opportunity and people are already afraid because of the pandemic. We have become a nation that can not tolerate risk.

Risk of poverty, risk of violence, risk of failure, etc. this could galvanize people who are afraid to stay in step with the Party, to be 1984ish. Or to be taken advantage of by hostile countries. Fear is the best tool for authoritarians to use in controlling people

2020-12-28 10:27:56 UTC

It's weird... I don't know if I buy the 5g theory. This guy was supposedly technical - some referred to him as a "computer guru". I wonder if they treated his Dad poorly at AT&T.

Also, his brother died of cancer in Sep 2018. https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/name/steve-warner-obituary?pid=190258077&page=2

2020-12-28 10:29:35 UTC

I thought the same thing about 5G.

2020-12-28 10:29:36 UTC

In previous articles, his neighbors said that he was quiet and that they did not think he was overly political. Now, authorities are saying he was a conspiracy theorist.

2020-12-28 10:34:12 UTC

Will never know if he was a conspiracy theorist or not all it takes is someone to say that.

I wonder if he was somehow treated bad by AT&t as a contract worker like doing alarm systems for some facility? Again pure speculation on my part.

Not to mention people talk a lot of s*** on the internet, who really knows what people actually think.

2020-12-28 10:35:29 UTC

Of course... I worked very closely with a former terrorist for months in the same office and I had no idea about her past - until she was on the news being arrested for a cold case murder. So, anything is possible.

2020-12-28 10:36:00 UTC

...

This guy didn't just come up with this last month...

I previously conjectured before I read that there was an issue with the backup generators that he was probably targeting the backup generators and fuel system and apparently they were damaged.

So somehow he had knowledge of that facility too I wonder when it was last remodeled or upgraded
