Its why I know her name.

2020-12-28 10:56:24 UTC

I see...

2020-12-28 10:56:42 UTC

not that lesbian, if I remember correctly.

2020-12-28 10:56:52 UTC

there was some free sex drama within the SLA

2020-12-28 10:57:26 UTC

horseback riding is fun for the bourgeois revolutionaries. 😄

2020-12-28 10:58:19 UTC

"Commisar Yolanda" probably enjoyed feeling like a red army cavalry field marshal.

2020-12-28 10:59:14 UTC

@TaLoN132 8 years for a murderer is pretty lenient

2020-12-28 10:59:26 UTC

@busillis not for these people.

2020-12-28 10:59:27 UTC

Yeah... She and her husband came to the Bay area from Indiana. She started volunteering at a prison and met Cinque (sp?). They ended up with an open marriage and she became one of Cinque's concubines (essentially). That's what was so startling to me - it didn't match up the lesbian I had known.

2020-12-28 10:59:59 UTC
2020-12-28 11:00:11 UTC

or...elaborate? What didnt match up.

2020-12-28 11:00:54 UTC

Her being owned by the general field marshal, and latering being an angry lesbian?

2020-12-28 11:03:15 UTC

She was a grandmotherly type - in appearance only. A little temperamental, but not militant. She and her partner would come to company gatherings. They kind of kept to themselves, but she was a little abrasive, anyways. She was pretty stern. I remember asking her about her background a few times, because she could not answer some of the questions that I was asking her - and she was my Subject Matter Expert.

2020-12-28 11:04:03 UTC

She didn't like being questioned.

2020-12-28 11:05:03 UTC

what kind of business was this, if you dont mind me asking?

2020-12-28 11:06:29 UTC

Entertainment software development... She was supposed to be an expert in Rights Licensing systems, because she was a manager that helped implement and maintain a system at Disney.

2020-12-28 11:09:28 UTC

hahaha!

2020-12-28 11:09:40 UTC

of course it had to be Disney! 😄

2020-12-28 11:09:55 UTC

wonderful!

2020-12-28 11:11:09 UTC

but the mismatch between sex-slave and angry lesbian is confusing? Want me to explain it?

2020-12-28 11:11:35 UTC

it was common in the Lx scene of the 60ies, 70ies and partly the 80ies.

2020-12-28 11:11:47 UTC

for ideological reasons.

2020-12-28 11:13:45 UTC

Why didnt you mention this sooner, @TaLoN132 Small world and all. 🙂

2020-12-28 11:14:06 UTC

It's not something that comes up in regular conversation.

2020-12-28 11:14:28 UTC

Maybe not in your existence. 😄

2020-12-28 11:14:52 UTC

You should thank the bomber @Doc

2020-12-28 11:15:42 UTC

anyways...Emily is one of those females who payed her church taxes for her bourgeois whiteness, by making her vagina available to the suppressed black man. Its one of the ways the maoist Lx can have absolution.

2020-12-28 11:16:30 UTC

The more suppressed (antisocial) the black male is, the better.

2020-12-28 11:16:34 UTC

I think part of the mismatch for me was that Emily reminded me (in appearance) of my mother. My mother was around the same age.

2020-12-28 11:16:45 UTC

haha!

2020-12-28 11:16:51 UTC

Damn... If you said that in public you might be canceled.

2020-12-28 11:17:05 UTC

I say this regularly in the paper.

2020-12-28 11:17:09 UTC

Only because it's true

2020-12-28 11:17:20 UTC

I am sometimes front page news for this reason.

2020-12-28 11:17:59 UTC

Not cancelled yet. Though...I have 0 net presence.

2020-12-28 11:18:10 UTC

And I usually only speak of these people when asked.

2020-12-28 11:18:30 UTC

In this case, we have a common acquaintance.

2020-12-28 11:18:44 UTC

Commissar Yolanda. 😄

2020-12-28 11:19:10 UTC

@TaLoN132 was your mother a 68-er?

2020-12-28 11:19:16 UTC

hippie/Lx?

2020-12-28 11:22:23 UTC

No... She was square. Grew up a military brat, met my dad towards the end of HS and they were married in 6 months - thinking my Dad was going to Vietnam. I was born 10 months later. Mom was 19 and dad had just turned 20. A few years later, we were stationed in Athens, Greece and my Dad managed to avoid Vietnam altogether.
