Maybe

I'm curious as to how much impact AvE had, he uses em often, fairly popular YouTuber. Think somewhere between ClickSpring and bigclive

2018-06-02 04:44:21 UTC

I dont know either of those, tbh

2018-06-02 04:44:22 UTC

I know Reddit has a huge boner for him.

2018-06-02 04:45:40 UTC

2018-06-02 04:45:52 UTC

2018-06-02 04:46:27 UTC

neat

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsPluf2TZrQ is my go-to AvE introduction. If you hate that video, you'll hate the rest. If you like it, and want to see him make stuff on a mill or teardown tools, watch more.

have to say https://lambda.sx/u9F.png that the current packing algos have come long way

2018-06-02 07:53:26 UTC

Depends what you're packing

If you are just having your monitor right in front of you is IPS still worth it over TN panel?

2018-06-02 08:01:12 UTC

I'm thinking about buying a second 144hz screen but everyone are so fucking ocd over "TN sucks get IPS"

2018-06-02 08:01:32 UTC

But they y cost like triple the price of a TN

the endorphins from the wow factor/vivid colors will fade in time

the more things change, the more they stay the same πŸ˜“

a high quality TN will be better than a mediocre IPS

i think IPS looks nice

but who fucking cares, use what you think is comfortable

if the screen is ok in your book, by all means use TN

2018-06-02 08:09:34 UTC

Just go to an electronic store and compare different models for yourself

2018-06-02 08:10:16 UTC

I unironically prefer even TN as it has the better black tones (for now at least)

2018-06-02 08:16:14 UTC

@Phatique depends which tn panel it is

2018-06-02 08:16:32 UTC

if its the dell 144hz gsync monitor then its the best tn on the market

2018-06-02 08:22:22 UTC

I can get the ASUS VG248QE for around 250US

2018-06-02 08:22:30 UTC

pretty cheap here

2018-06-02 09:41:18 UTC

why even get two 144hz?

2018-06-02 09:41:43 UTC

the human eye can only see 30 frames per second anyway, lmao

2018-06-02 09:48:19 UTC

@timsandtoms that is so great

2018-06-02 10:13:14 UTC

2018-06-02 10:13:22 UTC

2018-06-02 10:13:27 UTC
