There is already a leftist counter-conspiracy being loaded, insofar as it's harder for Russians to hack paper ballots. That's how crazy this gets. It needs to stop.
I don't think it's fair to compare the dispute over this election to the 4 years of unfounded Russia allegations... and if there's any serious evidence to back up everybody's suspicions well.... disenfranchising voters like this would be far more damaging to the country
I don't have any evidence that there was large-scale voter fraud yet.
Amounts of fraud that would actually change the result of the election.
I watched Ben Shapiro. He articulated it well, like most things he does.
i think there's enough circumstantial evidence to require a serious investigation and i don't think you should be getting tired of it just yet
I agree, instances of fraud should be investigated.
But we also cannot just sit here without any evidence of election fraud on a scale large enough to change the results of the election. This litigation could take years.
What are we supposed to do? Sit in limbo for 2 years?
The larger volume of anecdotal claims rely on no knowledge of the controls that are in place. Sheer volume of assertions does not overwhelming circumstantial evidence make.
Remember how many wrongful allegations of sexual misconduct that were levied at Trump, if you want an example of what Zulu is talking about.
Yes, everyone jumped on that train. They couldn't all be false, right? Lol
fair point but the scale of mail in voting this year gave them plenty of oppurtunity and there are serious flaws in some states election security....
Not saying he wasn't a sexual scumbag but you have to bring actual evidence, not just a heap accusations.
honestly it feels like they telegraphed their intentions early on
but i know how that sounds so i'll just shut up lol
we'll see
proving it will be next to impossibile
impossible*
It's fine, no one is judging you of course. Not I anyway.
Yeah "feels" is a sticky wicket. We all have it and it's not all the same. Everyone should be able to identify with that.
"Feels" in this current political climate is something that you want to double and triple check.
Lol yes
Well we could point to their actions and their words which inform my "feels" lol
but this is general chat so, let's not bother
honestly i am a little tired of it too
haha
Hey, it's all good my dude.
but i think it's important enough not to let it slide
We didn't mean 'feels' in the noun sense.
until Biden becomes president then there's no way to go but forward
Or net-slang sense.
it's cool i understand
net-slang. I like that term.
Like, I have conservative opinions on certain things, but left-wing opinions on other things. I'm libertarian much like Robert is. Heck, I believe you can use lethal force to protect your property in a lot of cases because it's a societal contract, and insurance never really covers everything, with exceptions of course. You shouldn't be shooting people if your house is already on fire or whatnot, it would be used to prevent massive property damage, and not as a tool for revenge. Caveats and whatnot. I also think you should be required to warn people in most cases. Of course I get called a crazy right-winger for having such opinions around the internet, but I think that's only because it's the internet.
I also understand insurance isn't something that is adequate compensation for loss.
Which is why I have that sort of opinion. If you just got the same monetary value back whenever you were wronged, I'd probably change my mind, but that's not how insurance companies work.
You still take massive losses most of the time.
I'm actually a centrist with a fairly hard libertarian lean.
Merely being compensated isn't good enough. Something has to address that you were lawfully minding your own business and someone took it upon themself to disrupt it. There is an element of initiative that needs to be accommodated and I'm not sure it's even possible to do that. It can't be nothing. The ability to legally prevent such things is somewhat of a counterbalance to the inability to fully reconcile unsolicited victimhood after the fact.
Which is why I believe you should be allowed to protect life and property (of a reasonable nature of course, not shooting someone for stealing your TV and the likes.)
