it is surprising actually,

i know both sides of the establishment love to be horribly corrupt

because I've always pictured defense lawyers as being more left leaning

In my opinion the left do play for keeps more than the right though, they seem to be happy being the opposition party

(a la the ACLU)

oh ACLU is a political group

dont think of it as an altruistic group fighting for civil rights

ACLU, SPLC, ADL etc, they are a part of the lefts machine

i really see populism taking over the republican party in the next 10-20 years

some are altruistically FoS absolutists

I'm a libertarian, not really a fan of populism

I also don't think we can make accurate predictions on the scale of 10 years

because of social media and technology changing the dynamic

its the reason why we are here now
