why are conspiracy theorists focusing on israel, looks like switzerland is where the global mastermind would be
@ImNotGas, you just advanced to level 8!
Thought France
Maybe that was later
turkey
I think it's because Switzerland has been constantly neutral.
In February 1929, Trotsky was deported from the Soviet Union to his new exile in Turkey. During his first two months in Turkey, Trotsky lived with his wife and eldest son at the Soviet Union Consulate in Constantinople and then at a nearby hotel in the city. In April 1929, Trotsky, his wife and son were moved to the island of Büyükada (aka Prinkipo) by the Turkish authorities. On Büyükada, they were moved into a house called the Yanaros mansion.[125] During his exile in Turkey, Trotsky was under the surveillance of the Turkish police forces of Mustafa Kemal Pasha. Trotsky was also at risk from the many former White Army officers who lived on Prinkipo, officers who had opposed the October Revolution and who had been defeated by Trotsky and the Red Army in the Russian Civil War. However, Trotsky's European supporters volunteered to serve as bodyguards and assured his safety.[126] At this time, he made requests to enter Belgium, France, Norway, Germany and the United Kingdom,[127] but they all refused it.
oh ok
Maw meant before the successful revolution.
firs tto turkey then to france
also mexico
Better check those numbers again. There was one year were supposedly Clinton ran a surplus. One year. But even that didn't hold up after revisions.
looks like he was everywhere
```In Switzerland, Trotsky briefly worked within the Swiss Socialist Party, prompting it to adopt an internationalist resolution. He wrote a book opposing the war, The War and the International,[59] and the pro-war position taken by the European social democratic parties, primarily the German party. ```
Yes there were many revolutions in Russia before the one that stuck.
I know Lenin was living in France before things became convenient for him to coopt the movement that was already going.
Lucky Lenin. Opportunist.
Very much so.
He was waiting for the chaos and disorder.
For decades..
you should read up on the russian revolution
what they did to the royal family is sickening
I have.
What the royal family did to the people is also sickening.
Yeah... I think it may have been by term. I forgot where I read that. He did add $1.4T overall.
Yeah, they didn't know what to do with them until someone got hammered and made the call.
Funny how inane the actual executy part went down.
They didn't know what to do until they were afraid of the white army on their border if the white army got a hold of Nicholas.
Or any surviving kin.
Yup. Can't reinstall dead people.
the children did nothing
They didn't, but you have to understand this is Tsarist Russia.
also nicholas was far removed from the public
The children were potentially going to be accepted as the next rulers by the public.
he probably barely knew of any suffering of the people
@meglide That's why I have a disdain for accounting and finance. They can fudge numbers to look good or bad to serve whatever purpose they require.
Blows my mind any time they let them live. Napoleon got exiled, came back and just got another exile ride. I see a trend, guys. Maybe not a good idea.
Well to be fair to Clinton that one year he did get very close to balancing the budget. Accounting and finance figures out how to cut me a paycheck each month. That makes it kind of hard for me to have disdain for them.
I admit that's too strong a word. I have other personal reasons, but not relevant. I may have been looking at budgets, which is way different from actual. I usually double check things like that before posting. Lesson learned. My point was that as a former governor and having down an adequate job on the economy, he did pretty well. Of course, he may have a hand in the policies that led to the 2008 crash. Now that I think of it... forget I said anything.
you will always be able to find some policy from a previous administration to blame your failures on, or dismiss and take credit for
