I watched her previous one and she was not more calm... she got into an argument with one Senators

@JD~Jordan I suggest such an analysis should start with mapping out degrees of alienation and atomiziation for different age groups and socioeconomical cohorts.

2020-12-03 15:03:42 UTC

I find it rather naive and dangerous to not recognize that some human behavior is detrimental to the whole

ELECTION OFFICIALS’ MANUAL Michigan Bureau of Elections Chapter 11, Updated October 2020

CHAPTER 11 ELECTION DAY ISSUES

Well, I am of that opinion. Humans are sometimes aggressive, even murderous. It is as much part of human nature and therefore fluctuations in its manifestation, as is love and reproduction. That is a product of years of study and a massive chunck of cynicism. I hardly think myself naive, @JD~Jordan

2020-12-03 15:06:24 UTC

I just observe that genocide is where humans originated. And they tend to follow that path sometimes.

2020-12-03 15:07:31 UTC

I didn't say you were. I said that the position of not recognizing some human behavior is detrimental to society.

I really find it hard to believe this is an issue that needs debating.

I think it does, if one wants to understand Trumpism. It is clearly an aggressive response. If you are against human aggression, I would say understanding it is that much harder.

2020-12-03 15:08:56 UTC

Suppression of women in some cultures is the norm but its clearly detrimental, and not just to the women in that culture, as an example.

2020-12-03 15:09:10 UTC

Define detrimental?

2020-12-03 15:09:21 UTC

just so I understand what you mean.

2020-12-03 15:09:28 UTC

(Not beneficial)

2020-12-03 15:09:38 UTC

Not beneficial for who?

2020-12-03 15:09:42 UTC

the women? Probably.

2020-12-03 15:09:43 UTC

I saw that one coming and I really am naive

2020-12-03 15:09:46 UTC

Or "tending to cause harm"

2020-12-03 15:09:59 UTC

tending to cause harm.
"moving her could have a detrimental effect on her health"

2020-12-03 15:10:00 UTC

Probably? are you serious?

2020-12-03 15:10:14 UTC

harm is part of existence. In fact, according to Strindberg all existence on this planet causes harm.

2020-12-03 15:10:21 UTC
2020-12-03 15:11:31 UTC

@JD~Jordan Being a slave seems to have its benefits. Most humans will submit in a hierarchy for this reason. Autonomy scares them.

2020-12-03 15:11:34 UTC

might actually be beneficial to women, if society is at war and women are suppressed from joining in combat fewer of them get killed

2020-12-03 15:11:34 UTC

Thus: probably.

2020-12-03 15:11:46 UTC

Probably should take a poll with the women and see if they think it’s detrimental.

2020-12-03 15:11:48 UTC

ok... wow. Not gonna waste my time further with that issue. Women get murdered for being raped in some places. And its accepted.

LGBT individuals get tossed into cages that are then lowered into a lake to drown.

But sure... that isn't detrimental at all

you muck be fucking joking

2020-12-03 15:12:26 UTC

@JD~Jordan Note that the spartans killed everything that seemed weak, and they lasted longer than most empires.

2020-12-03 15:12:42 UTC

This all depends on what you see as subjective "good":

2020-12-03 15:12:49 UTC

@Doc I can’t tell if you are just very successful trolling JD or if you are serious. Lol

2020-12-03 15:13:01 UTC

If you moral compass is so rusted as to not recognize those examples of APPROVED behavior as detrimental then I really do no see the point in discussing it further

2020-12-03 15:13:11 UTC

@yetiCodes No, I am serious. Im just not normative. Something people are very not used to.

2020-12-03 15:13:32 UTC

Okay, it’s an abrasive perspective. Lol

2020-12-03 15:13:46 UTC

Its a ridiculous perspective

2020-12-03 15:13:48 UTC

@JD~Jordan I observe most morals as a way to stabilize the present hierarchy.

2020-12-03 15:13:49 UTC

and immoral

2020-12-03 15:14:08 UTC

@JD~Jordan true. Beyond good and evil usually entails an instrumental view on morals.

2020-12-03 15:14:14 UTC

Ooohhh morality is a fun talk.

2020-12-03 15:14:44 UTC

I think you like to act like you are more intelligent and "enlightened" than others all the while making ridiculous statements

2020-12-03 15:14:54 UTC

@JD~Jordan But you might be right. It is hard to have a discussion across cultural lines when the abyss between them is too deep. I agree.

2020-12-03 15:15:10 UTC

Ok. Thanks for the chat @Doc
