if I believed "money is no object to Trump," I'd send $100 myself but it's telling to me that he's used less than 5 cents on the dollar raised for his legal battles ... I was listening to a court case in WI this morning where the campaign spent $3 million on a partial recount when a full recount would have only cost them $7 million

2020-12-11 18:10:25 UTC

Was there a problem with some of the votes or all of the votes?

Without knowing the context of the WI case specifically I am not going to assert something in either direction.

2020-12-11 18:10:51 UTC

Never donated to any campaign ever.

2020-12-11 18:11:34 UTC

then money is an object to you ... why you think any less of Trump I don't know

2020-12-11 18:11:50 UTC

Anyone see the brief about New California amd New Nevada?

2020-12-11 18:14:01 UTC

Yeah, it is an object to me because I am the sole provider for my family and my wife works full time for a non-profit, so there isn’t much left over haha. It’s very much an object. 😂 If put on a grift to go from 0 money to 200 Million monies... that’s a solid motive. I’d be set.
I don’t think it’s equivalent motive for someone to run this whole thing... for, once again, marginal financial gain.

2020-12-11 18:14:18 UTC

Also intesting that the military are deploying vacccines across the states right now

2020-12-11 18:16:59 UTC

Agree to disagree haha.

2020-12-11 18:22:54 UTC

maybe but I don't agree with the word "grift" ... it's not a swindle and it's not small time ... people are giving their money freely as a donation and there's nothing promised in return except that he will fight it in court ... I'm all for that ... whether it's marginal financial gain for him or not, I know not and it doesn't matter ... you and I both will take marginal financial gain any day of the week and I don't expect Trump to be any different ... now why are these folks giving their donations freely, well because they are believers and how did they become believers and what do they point to as to Trump's virtue? him giving up his salary, "see he's not in it for the money" ... sorry I'm just too skeptical to be a believer ... at least in this case

2020-12-11 18:30:01 UTC

I believe both sides use "charityl

2020-12-11 18:30:19 UTC

I think more important issues about money should be discussed in corona virus aid to fake laundering corporations receiving millions of dollors in aid (not a real company) and donating to ACTBLUE donating to campaigns?

2020-12-11 18:30:50 UTC

That money shoulda gone to the people not under the table to campaigns

2020-12-11 18:31:20 UTC

the only real way to determine if the funds are used appropriately is to see if we see actions. Trump has non stop sued and fought. I would saythat action his supporters want

2020-12-11 18:31:26 UTC

Exactly, nothing is promised, but that he’s going to put up a fight and make a case for widespread fraud. It’s the same as donating to a campaign. That politician is going to shoot their shot and the funds help them do that. Once you donate it is their discretion how they direct those funds in their effort.

2020-12-11 18:31:49 UTC

i dont see change for black communities from BLM

2020-12-11 18:32:17 UTC

And where are democrats spending their money from campaigns? What are they doing besides bossing people around telling them to stay inside?

2020-12-11 18:32:51 UTC

Kings and Queens of Laundering

2020-12-11 18:32:57 UTC

It's not the FBIs job to "help Trump" it's to investigate crimes that's why Texas is going down for this 🤔

2020-12-11 18:33:12 UTC

FBI is incompetent regardless

2020-12-11 18:33:21 UTC

Ignoring Epstein claims

2020-12-11 18:33:22 UTC

@nainani, you just advanced to level 3!

2020-12-11 18:33:31 UTC

in 2008. Under Obama

2020-12-11 18:33:33 UTC

Epstein 🤣

2020-12-11 18:34:02 UTC

Who was supposed to investigate the xfiles

2020-12-11 18:34:05 UTC

And still doing nothing with evidence because of incompetency!

2020-12-11 18:34:20 UTC

FBI should be disbanded

2020-12-11 18:36:13 UTC

We need a new intelligence, how can we trust anyone? Only by actions?

2020-12-11 18:36:56 UTC

Or maybe a look into who is trying to stop actions, who is silencing. Coming back around to censorship

2020-12-11 18:38:38 UTC

because they are believers

@meglide That's what makes it a grift. It is much like televangelism with, frankly, similar susceptibility to belief in a promise for salvation from a repetitively reinforced dubious fate. Maybe 'racket' would be a better word but it's something, for sure.

2020-12-11 18:39:12 UTC

That can be said about any non profit

2020-12-11 18:39:24 UTC

if youre not a believer

2020-12-11 18:40:28 UTC

well then I revert to the other part of the definition then: "a petty or small-scale swindle" ... $200M is not small, neither is my admiration 😛

2020-12-11 18:41:25 UTC

@Zuluzeit it's not a swindle until you no longer believe?

2020-12-11 18:41:25 UTC

My thing, is that politicians and people with public influence were involved with Epstein? Why is this not the most important thing? It is being swept under public eye, because people are walking around scott free. The law is flawed when there has to be record of every person on that island and no one wants to talk about it? Ghislaine Maxwell is to be tried? No one else? This is so disgusting. And involves human trafficking. MODERN DAY SLAVERY.

2020-12-11 18:41:28 UTC

its a swindle if you're against, a cause if you're with

2020-12-11 18:42:37 UTC

If politicians are involved with human trafficking, there needs to be investigation, NOT by the incompetent and compromised FBI who clearly did not do their job the first time (really making it look like they're hiding something)

2020-12-11 18:43:07 UTC

I don't care who is president

2020-12-11 18:43:10 UTC

I want this shit to end

2020-12-11 18:43:41 UTC

> @Zuluzeit it's not a swindle until you no longer believe?
@meglide Making them believe and then actively soliciting is what makes it a swindle. Taking money is just taking money.
