Theres obviously millions of the half the country that dont vote that would if it doesnt involve standing outside for many hours

2020-12-11 18:49:03 UTC

It's never taken me that long

2020-12-11 18:49:04 UTC

Hahaha

2020-12-11 18:49:22 UTC

Of course it hasnt voting times are targeted

2020-12-11 18:49:31 UTC

And I highly doubt that's the reason why people didn't vote for Obama as much as Biden

2020-12-11 18:49:59 UTC

I guarantee you people were excited and happy to vote for Obama

2020-12-11 18:50:11 UTC

It only takes 6, 8, 10 hours in minority communities in GOP states. It's a feature not a bug

2020-12-11 18:51:57 UTC

I think claiming that for GOP states is a little far fetched

2020-12-11 18:53:46 UTC

I'm sure you do it's too plausible. Would it help if I said it was because of the CIA and China and the deep state doing it?

2020-12-11 18:54:52 UTC

I think it's more that Democrats call for minorities to vote for them and then do nothing for them afterwards

2020-12-11 18:54:52 UTC

@nainani, you just advanced to level 4!

2020-12-11 18:55:38 UTC

Which has been evident for decades

2020-12-11 18:55:57 UTC

What does that have to do with voting lines
🤷

2020-12-11 18:55:57 UTC

Politicians use voters, both sides

2020-12-11 18:56:02 UTC

That's a platform claim.

2020-12-11 18:56:40 UTC

> What does that have to do with voting lines

@Dedkraken I was trying to phrase it. I was at a loss for a minute. Thanks.

2020-12-11 18:59:01 UTC

I'd respect if the GOP supported platforms to get minority votes instead of shutting down their ability to vote. But they dont 😂

2020-12-11 19:00:10 UTC

I don't think that's indicative of the election this year

2020-12-11 19:03:01 UTC

In minority communities in GA this election waiting times to vote were upwards of 8 hours. The senate runoff in January they cut the number of places to vote in half.

2020-12-11 19:05:21 UTC

Well, why is it this way? Is it a lack of venues? Is it a lack of workers? Who is supposed to employ these venues?

2020-12-11 19:05:56 UTC

Republicans control the state and they used that power to diminish polling places in specific areas of their state.

2020-12-11 19:06:04 UTC

Is anyone watching the wisconsin hearing?

2020-12-11 19:06:31 UTC

I guess what I am asking is how are they using their power to do this?

2020-12-11 19:07:20 UTC

Trump 2020 is coming now that other states are on board

2020-12-11 19:07:23 UTC

Are they the ones in charge of venues and workers for voting?

2020-12-11 19:07:40 UTC

The mayor of racine was "the" person who organized all the fd up things that happen in Milwaukee. Kenosha. Dane. Racine and Brown counties! He was paid $100k from mark Zuckerberg! I can see his office from our window.

2020-12-11 19:07:55 UTC

They declare where venues are placed and how many workers go there?

2020-12-11 19:09:18 UTC

They control how many locations there are in specific areas. So like Cobb county in the black and latinx areas it's the 3rd most populated county they said 10 places to vote too many you get 5. So not only do people that had to wait 8 hours to vote have less locations it will be cold because its winter now

2020-12-11 19:09:26 UTC

The private organization Zuckerberg made laid out instructions to him and the requirements at each voting center listed they must follow

2020-12-11 19:10:04 UTC

@dnindustry It's streaming on NTD

2020-12-11 19:10:14 UTC

Yes

2020-12-11 19:10:25 UTC

The initial massive dump of over 1000 polling places in cities was following the wrecking of 1965 VRA a few years earlier. That's when Kemp stole the governorship resulting in a massive backlash against Trump

2020-12-11 19:12:53 UTC

The former Federal prosecutor from Kansas?? Testified before the current lady.

2020-12-11 19:13:08 UTC

Our place was moderately busy because we went to early voting but even waiting 2 hours sucked pretty bad. Much longer and you are running into mealtimes and things

2020-12-11 19:15:16 UTC

I guess I wish I could see a conference where this is happening to see who is actually making these calls. That doesn't sound good at all. I remember reading stories of random poll places being closed down with no real reasoning and happening out of the blue

2020-12-11 19:15:47 UTC

I can't remember where I read that though, I just remember thinking that was messed up for the other polling places to have more volume

2020-12-11 19:19:39 UTC

I would think it was to use fear to force mailin or curbside. Makes you wonder about the democratic primary. Suddenly Joe wins. Why....I'm calling it now that the plan is that hunter investigation implicate Joe. Which is why MSM is pushing it now so kamala is installed after Joe stepping down. She was the plan the whole time.

2020-12-11 19:20:33 UTC

I mean they knew places with 500 voters would have no issues and places with 8000 voters would. It was balanced out pretty evenly before they did it. But we let the guy in the election run his own election 🤣 he just happened to accidentally depress voters where he wasnt popular

2020-12-11 19:23:03 UTC

It's the states secretary of state that controls polling locations and voter rolls and can wield that power to either make a more or less fair election
