I spent my entire career in insurance. People don’t realize there is always a back up plan. That’s why insurance companies take over when one fails. Their regulated federally. So the government would have to protect that benefit

What were the options right?

For group insurance in 1997 I think hipaa was made into law. Those on group insurance have preexisting protection and health coverage for 63 days minimum and the could buy expensive cobra after that when leaving a job. But that doesn’t help Obamacare. And not everyone has insurance. But again Obamacare raised premiums to where people sometimes only can afford an insurance discount plan and that’s not insurance. It’s like going to the hospital with a coupon card
