There are certain aspects of the 9/11 attack that don't make sense to me... But, I don't think that the hijackers were employed by the government.
They weren't
I don't believe it was an inside job.
At all.
It's easy just to entrap and let extremist do what they do
They didn't justify the war (nor really engage in the war in a constitutional means) using 9/11. They used WMDs and fear-mongering.
@Maw Did you serve in Iraq?
They used 9/11 as a catalyst
Both of which were kinda irrelevant because Vietnam opened up a can of worms that never should have been opened in terms of precedents.
No, but many in my family did. I was a little too young at the time.
It started when I was like 13.
My brother was in the first wave of troops though.
(He's like... 8-9 years older than me I think?)
I was there in 2006-2007
My oldest brother that is.
We used israel blowing up a ship to get support for getting involved in a world war.
?
Uss liberty
We did find chemical weapons...
That's not a world war.
Sorry me dumb. Got that mixed up with something else
In case it's not obvious, Nuclear and Biological weapons are considered WMDs.
Gotta remember, world wars are basically when every superpower is in war.
Yuh.
Yep, and it almost lead to a nuclear wasteland.
I am saying using terror attacks to motivate the public has been used a lot
Not all of them fake. Pearl harbor 100% real
We were moments away from killing everyone on the planet.
And it's thanks to the USSR's one vetoing navy member for holding that off from happening.
And?
Did that suddenly make this tactic not viable
We have fought in wars since cuba
Again, you're talking about the CIA, not the FBI.
Also we're talking about America.
As I've said numerous times.
Terrorist attack as justification...
As in get public support for wars by doing a terrorist attack
"The proposals called for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or other U.S. government operatives to both stage and actually commit acts of terrorism against American military and civilian targets"
Proposal, yes.
