Well.... the fact to assume that the majority of the school shooters or active shooters in any situation are going to be able to sucessfully carry out their plans and kill more people without access to high powered weapons is silly to me

So broaden it.... look at Australia.... they got rid of the guns. Load of access to fertilizers and that sort of things to make bombs... yet we dont see it happening.

And, for the record I do not oppose gun ownership

Sounds absolutely awful but then again that's probably the same reason I would never shoot anybody.
