If its like my school, where they do a prize drawing, they have to log somehow that you filled out the thing

So they basically make a session id when you click the link in your email and know that its you but they unlink the data they receive (your answers) from this once you complete it

Our course evals are done at the end of the terms - they're not anonymous and they discuss your results and your responses with you at the start of the next term or in your own time
