its not they refuse its that they physically cant better themselves

A homeless person can go to a homeless shelter, Sign up for an organization

Receive a house and job training

And can be making a wage within 1-2 years

what if there isnt a homeless shelter near by

Community centers do the same thing

Town halls do the same thing in most examples

Even police stations

and people who do sign up for those organizations could be on the waiting list for years

The wait is months where I live and from what ive seen

The longest ive seen the wait is 2 years

there are so many homeless people who dont have all of these resources

And even if the wait is years like you said, They still have that opportunity do they not?

My uncle is homeless and i have yet to see him try anything

opportunity or not waiting on the streets for years is horrible

I have two uncles living in the same city (Odessa) in texas

Theres holding centers and homeless shelters but alright)

One uncle is currently homeless and my entire family

has tried to encourage him to do something

me and my mother were in a womens shelter for almost a month

And he refuses to do it

And thats because she actually tried

some people arent safe in those holding shelters

Its better to be in a holding shelter then on the streets lol

And if im not mistaken there are family shelters and they are supervised

there are shelters like the one i went to

For just women

And theyre kids

Your saying people cant rise in america but in actuality you can if you genuinely try lol
