shit sorry its taken me so long to answer my brother was showing me something and he was taking like 500 years to sow me anyways to answer your questions, what i meant by basic human rights i meant like food, water, etc, bad wording on my behalf, privatized property basically funds capitalism which in turn hurts people in poverty, if you would like me to explain more i will, although your taxes may help people slightly they really dont help people in the long run and stay on their feet, again sorry for taking so long to respond

ok anyways to answer the question i was asked capitalism hurts people in poverty because for example lets look at gas prices gas prices have gone up over the past few years (not really few but you get the point) and in some places the gas prices have gone up even high due to capitalism trying to get as much money as possible, if someone who is low income drives a car and needs gas goes to one of these gas stations and cant afford gas then cant get to their job and because they cant get to their job they will lose money from their paycheck which they most likely needed to pay bills and other necessities ,i hope that made sense

i understand what you are saying and i probably could have chosen a better hypothetical but to rise in america the most common thing you have to do is exploit the working class which is what a lot of the people who are extremely wealthy do of course you can rise in america but you have to start off in a good situation where you are living comfortably and people in poverty of course arent so the chances of them being able to be wealthy is extremly low

like i said before its not impossible its just not that everyone is able to to do it you for example could but that doesnt mean everyone can

its not they refuse its that they physically cant better themselves

what if there isnt a homeless shelter near by

and people who do sign up for those organizations could be on the waiting list for years

there are so many homeless people who dont have all of these resources

opportunity or not waiting on the streets for years is horrible

some people arent safe in those holding shelters

some people are genuinely trying and they cant

homeless people arent asking for handouts they are asking for help

no one should have to earn the right to live in a house, eat food, drink water, or any ther basic necessities

no one chooses to be homeless, no one chooses to be in poverty so no one should get to choose what they do and dont deserve

they need money to get those things

not every homeless person can do that though

some homeless people have illnesses or disabilities or mental health issuses so they cant just walk in and get trained for a job (not saying that they arent capable of having a job)

like you said before you need good grades to get into collage if you go to a bad school that doesnt provide for your academic need you might not get the best grades (and yes ik what you said before about your grades but sadly you dont speak for all people) so if they dont have good grades they cant get into college and then cant get a good job
