You have to set it up yourself
It's not that hard
optimus, that is
I'll go and read documentation, one sec
I know this is /g/ and all but distros are kinda of a pain when you have linux talk
What do you mean
>okay i installed ubuntu time to see what linux is all about
>nonono you have to use <insert_distro_here>
Yeah /g/ is like that
yea, a lot of elitism in Linux
I'm just wondering why choose manjaro is all
I didn't suggest anything else to him
Eh, I'm going to be distro hopping anyways
I remember trying few distros but ultimately went back to Windows mainly because I didn't want to bother looking up how to get few programs running in other distros
To be fair, their is elitism in any community
Long ago I made the switch from windows to linux, I've had the same install for roughly 7 years now
"If you have a Fermi-based NVIDIA GPU you need to use these commands"
I have a NVS 4200M, which is Fermi-based.
It uses a GF119.
So run those commands
I switched from Windows to Linux like 15 years ago
Just say that it's retarded or something, basically insult Linux and someone will make a script to automate that for you <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
same lmfao
Actually the first distro I used was Ubuntu 4.10 like
fucking AGES ago
Wow oldfag
That would be 04
I remember buying a PC at around 2006-2007 and it had some Linux on it
First linux I ever tried was ubuntu 10.10
Windows support: (None)
Linux Support: "You don't actually need to do X, do Y instead."
"No, it doesn't matter that this doesn't solve your problem at all. Thread Locked. Status: Solved"
Wasn't ubuntu, was some OC donut steel one
I think it was 07 when we were still using 56k in the house.
All I remember is that it had some weird program that basically had stamples shit
56K, I remember those days
And Tux Racer preinstalled
Kek
Suprisingly browsing through the files I could see a HL2 E3 tech demo or something
I am barely out of them
Anyone actually get a job using linux?
Good luck with that. most companies are standardized on Windows
