I work monday to friday so I took classes on the weekends

and those classes will involve deep learning so good gpu is kinda needed

you can get 1050 ti's or 1060's for roughly the same price

it has proper cuda support

I mean the framework for deeplearning

basically any nvidia graphics of the last decade has "proper cuda support"
