it taught me a lot of valuable shit but nothing i never knew that i didn’t have before man i was always a very respectful person so i respect my boss but for me i guess it taught me how to deal with assholes because those guys are the harshest motherfuckers on the planet they are good people and they want to see you succeed my boss is like my dad to me he’s harsh on me to make me learn a lesson but loves me man i love him too he’s a great guy honestly hard working dude
construction is pretty cool too because it’s like a democracy man
yeah i worked in construction for a year
i hated it
you got a boss and shit sure but most of it is all fueled through what the majority wants it’s pretty wild to see how that works and shit
but it was useful as for me to do
i like it man it’s tolling but it’s great
i get paid to be with guys that love me and i get paid to workout
> i get paid to be with guys that love me
better say no homo real quick
construction guys aren’t like walmart guys either man they have expectations you don’t meet them right away obviously but if on the first day you do your best you work hard as fuck and you do what they say you’ll earn respect and in return they are like family to you
I need a job
my dad was the boss so it was literal family
if you want to join the marines work in construction for a bit man i’m sure you’ll learn some valuable lessons to take over to the marine corps
yeah thats not my area of fulfillment
i think half the time my boss could be a drill sergeant that’s the way i see him and every time someone is discharged from the service they always end up becoming lifelong friends with these guys just because respect works differently with real men
what kind of construction you do
army has real men and construction has real men man
masonry
i did commercial shit for awhile too though but my first job was laboring for masons
mixing mud stacking block stacking scaffolding all that shit
I don't think I'll be able to do construction as I want to get a journalism or lawyer degree but I'll need to know a trade because I might join the Green Berets after the SAS
they put me on the wall now i lay block and shit but yeah for the most part that’s how I started
yea lofty goals bro i hope you succeed i genuinely do
