2020-12-16 22:51:06 UTC

Yeah I think I saw that a while ago

2020-12-16 22:52:19 UTC

Unfortunately, many of his facts were mainstream propaganda

2020-12-16 22:53:03 UTC

such as?

2020-12-16 22:54:41 UTC

Is Ken Burns a historian?

2020-12-16 22:55:26 UTC

I am gonna hold off answering that cos I think LLoyd is about to slam him lol

2020-12-16 22:55:57 UTC

Lol ok, is he meant to be a historian?

2020-12-16 22:56:10 UTC

yeah he did a series on the vietnam war too

2020-12-16 22:56:57 UTC

Lincoln was mentally ill
Wrote poems about suicide, when Southern States started succeeding he did nothing for a long time (may have been in one of his depressive moods), Then he did a lot of overreacting that could only result in more states leaving, and the start of warfare

2020-12-16 22:57:07 UTC

Lloyd has read over 30 books on the civil war so he knows a lot on this subject

2020-12-16 22:58:04 UTC

Hello MAGAmigos

2020-12-16 22:58:04 UTC

@Lloyd Owen why didnt the north just put en economic blockade on the south instead of invading?

2020-12-16 22:58:21 UTC
2020-12-16 22:58:28 UTC

hope you are feeling well

2020-12-16 22:58:37 UTC

Better, ty

2020-12-16 22:58:59 UTC

2020-12-16 22:59:04 UTC

Have to ask Lincoln

2020-12-16 22:59:54 UTC

Hi @Free2Think 👋👍

2020-12-16 23:00:07 UTC

@Lloyd Owen can't he votes for Biden now

2020-12-16 23:00:25 UTC

I've been watching your links @Free2Think thanks 🙏

2020-12-16 23:00:42 UTC

😂😂😂

2020-12-16 23:03:32 UTC

Amen, he was a proponent of big taxing govt. The South. Man for man, had the best soldiers in history, but every time they won a battle they lost men they couldn't replace
Lincoln brought in 300K from Ireland and the same from Germany and had a mass of freed slaves

2020-12-16 23:05:46 UTC

Lee was a screwup on offense as was Braxton Brahg

2020-12-16 23:06:06 UTC

*Bragg

2020-12-16 23:06:47 UTC

I read that Custer was no military genius, he just threw wave after wave of men regardless of the losses involved

2020-12-16 23:07:15 UTC

and split his army against a larger foe

2020-12-16 23:07:31 UTC

Yeah at little big horn

2020-12-16 23:08:00 UTC

After they'd marched solidly for 2 days or something aswell

2020-12-16 23:08:13 UTC

sounds like a glory hunter to me

2020-12-16 23:08:24 UTC

Yep

2020-12-16 23:09:20 UTC

Right. He was never cautious, liked to swing a saber in front of his horsemen. He hung 6 Confedates one time, so they turned around and did the same to some of his

2020-12-16 23:10:52 UTC

Hello to you guys up there, sorry, popped in links to chat with Clare for a moment

2020-12-16 23:10:55 UTC

Lloyd I could listen to you talk about US military history all day man, and I mean that for real

2020-12-16 23:11:16 UTC

Yeah same, I could too.
No worries Free 😁

2020-12-16 23:12:58 UTC

welcome back @Free2Think

2020-12-16 23:13:48 UTC

After I found out how untrue most historians were. I read upwards of 80 Civil War books. If we'd sent a couple of million true Civil War books to Germany and Japan, they might have thought twice about fighting us.

2020-12-16 23:16:25 UTC

wow 80 books that is awesome

2020-12-16 23:18:20 UTC

Ken Burns missed some good facts on Vietnam, too. The photographer who took the picture of the SV officer shooting a prisoner during the Tet Offnse, said. 20 years later that he wished he'd never taken the picture, after finding out what the prisoner had been involved in.

2020-12-16 23:19:04 UTC

I know the pic you mean, I definitely saw that documentary

2020-12-16 23:19:11 UTC

There's two party's going on one here and one in links lol

2020-12-16 23:19:23 UTC
