Yay my first 120 film wasn't a total failure
Only few times forgot to wind the film forward completely
in other news, chink color film that promised 27 exposures, delivered 18 frames

>uber driver doesn't speak German, Italian, French or English at all
>he can freely choose between 4 commonly understood languages in Switzerland, yet to make a job where he interacts with people all day he chooses to learn none of them
>no way to tell him that he took the wrong turn and his inaccurate GPS is thinking that he's on a totally different street than he actually is and that he basically fucked up
>keep driving like a retard for 10 minutes with me trying to tell him in every possible way
report to uber, get refund
ez
I'm already writing the email
probably got a friend to write his cv/resume and lied in it
But why would people choose to ride people around a city if they have no way at all, to communicate?
There are other jobs you could do in that situation
because taxi services are the go-to for immigrants
And I doubt uber pays that well that you would want to take that risk
well hes an immigrant, so he doesnt know the word risk
I'm an immigrant, too
and probably doesnt have that much to lose
I mean hes a further-off immigrant probably
was he a turk or something
I thought so, and I can talk very basic Turkish because I used to date a Turkish girl for years
But he didn't even speak Turkish
Sounded similar though
Maybe some weird Turk dialect
Bizzare
Maybe it was Kurdish
turkurdish~
iirc uber is fairly strict about language and quality requirements
@Julian it is. But you have to get caught being shitty first. They'll let Any one START driving
dont you need to do *any* sort of interview?
Lol no
Uber still denies that their drivers are even employees
They're "independent contractors" that are matched with potential customers through the app :^^^^^^^^^)

Dear Sir or Madam
As you can see from my Uber account, I've spent a total of 6700 CHF on Uber since I first discovered it 2 years ago, without a single complaint or having received a bad rating.
Sadly, I have to change this today because I had a fairly bad experience. Please note my ride from Zurich main station to Oerlikon. The driver was completely unable to communicate in any language commonly understood in Switzerland (I tried German, Italian, French and English) and spent about 15 minutes taking wrong turns that I ended up being charged for.
This isn't the first time that I have had such a difficulty to communicate with a driver, but it is the first time that it caused me to be late for an important appointment.
Please refund me part of the trip that was taken unnecessarily. Also, if I may provide feedback as an Uber fan and heavy user, please improve the quality check on your drivers.
Best Regards
Porco
That's about what I wrote but in German
