this ones dirty tho
this is the guide on how to do it iirc
@cathy so it's a good find?
that's one of the later ones
made by lexmark
the best ones are those which were made by IBM, and have already been bolt modded
fuck
won't cop
why
?
wait
i mean it will be decent but if you're not willing to bolt mod to make it not fall apart and clean it then you're sol
it looks p clean already
hasn't got that smoker house look
this is the one I bought
it's a repro by the company who bought all of the patents and manufacturing process shit when IBM stopped making them
it's kinda expensive but worth af
one thing to note is it doesn't use the default HID driver so it might not work instantly on all systems but it's compatible with most modern OSs
I dunno maybe it is
so I'd have to mod it to usb because the ps/2 won't work?
I'm still weighing up, this guy's used keyboard or an ajazz
foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook
But the ajazz doesn't have a numpad, right?
tkl looks nice
no numpad
Even my laptop has a numpad
But then again I absolutely need a numpad
Maybe you don't
I dont even need it
@Deleted User you don't have to mod ther PS/2 models assuming your motherboard has a port, it's the RJ45 ones that need modding
now it's also advised to bolt mod any original model M you buy because the plastic rivets inside break over time and you lose the click
it takes about an hour and some nuts and bolts but it's doable
I don't think I can afford a model m, the only way I see to get one is import from US and that adds a ton to shipping
they also have something like this which is a converter with built in firmware to convert from RJ45 to USB so if you see a really good deal one one go for it but accomodate for the cost
they're pretty lit but yeah if you can't afford one it's not life changing or anything
I'm seeing a lot of RS 6000 Ms for similar prices
