I had a suspicion because it starts rattling with feedback at 100% gain
like a TV turned up too loud

somake is probably still fine for skype and gaming because that throws your audio through its own compression and fucks it up anyway
but I don't feel comfortable with my original test
because it isn't valid
can't compare like for like if one of them is artificially boosted
One might argue that it's still okay, as long as it sounds fine.
Although one should still be aware that it's boosted before buying.
