i remember reading that scotland had a toxic oil industry

we don't really have control over the oil

and that it costed them more than it profited

not one of our devolved powers

in devolution we got given some independence over how we run the country but the major stuff is still decided in England

the 2016 act you need a referendum to abolish the Scottish government

which no one would do

because we brought in free university education for Scottish residents and anybody else if they stay in the country 3 years

free bus travel for the elderly

people in England and the rest of the world squat here for 3 years then take the education because it's 9k a year down south
