2016-07-21 06:23:41 UTC

Have you tried just using a Chromebook, which uses Coreboot and uses Gentoo as a base @Camphor76-22-2

2016-07-21 06:23:49 UTC

I just tried downloading a couple of old torrents i had laying around again from .org, same shit

2016-07-21 06:23:54 UTC

I'd run some form of linux on my laptop, but I always have this issue where after I click once with the mousepad, I can't use it anymore, even though I enjoy the environment more while I'm learning to program, if I'm using my laptop, I wanna be getting comfy in a lazyboy and not have to worry about having a spot for a usb mouse.

2016-07-21 06:24:04 UTC

Fuck chromebooks. Too expensive

2016-07-21 06:24:23 UTC

>too expensive
Isn't the whole point of them to be cheap

2016-07-21 06:24:42 UTC

Not at 200$ for a decent one

2016-07-21 06:24:44 UTC

in any case, .se was the official for a while

2016-07-21 06:25:12 UTC

2016-07-21 06:25:12 UTC

I dont pay for laptops as a rule. They break too easily.
