It's good for the RPi that they have a more sophisticated GPU even though I dislike how closed it is and how much hack people use to hardware accelerate

Cant confirm how well and what it supports though, these boards shouldnt really be used to playback video

I'd use a real CPU and GPU since software decoding needs far more resources

as for emulators

I get that they are scripts optimized for RPi

that means not really made for OPi
