The VPU/GPU in Raspberry Pi
Is the Broadcome Videocore IV right
Well the ARM old-style GPU, the so-called Mali one used in cheap phones etc
That's not good for emulation
The issue is difference in some important parts of how it works
oh
It's excellent for headless use though
and I'm not saying it's impossible
So
but its not worth all the extra hassle compared to getting one with Videocore IV
In other words, you cucked up
Are you saying the Orange Pi PC is better?
I don't have a raspberry though
I am saying that the GPU in Orange Pi PC is different from the one used in RPi
Never implied I did
Which is Videocore IV
And all the emulator guys are making it for that one
So that's good?
It's good for the RPi that they have a more sophisticated GPU even though I dislike how closed it is and how much hack people use to hardware accelerate
But for you it willl be hard to run emulation
Any sort of emulation?
you need a class 10 sdcard too
but thats pretty self explanatory
any slow cards in dev boards is hell
remember that you are running the whole thing on a sdcard
which could easily be designed just for storing shit
and being cheap
How big was your shark?
64
Ahhh that's very big
I had hoped it was smaller, might still work we will see
could be it doesnt support that big size too would suck
16gb one has been working fine here
I have a 32 aswell
Well, what do I use the orange pi for then?
If I can't use it for any emulation
Its good for headless use
which is what I do
basically plug it in internet have it run whatever you want
like running chink coupon script
