sounds like a pain in the ass
it's hardware issues mostly
Battery?
yeah
Or some chip in the phone mobo not reporting it?
battery drain due to android not being coded for the intel processor
It might be a protection circuit
cyanogenmod works though
I could reflash in Cyanogen for these phones and it won't be shit?
also it seems mobo failure is common too
cyanogen seems to take care of some of the issues
Take a look at this then
I can pull my bids out if I want
>pawnstar
I used to live in NZ
I remember going into pawnstar to check shit out
good times
It just seems for a phone that's Atom, 4GB RAM 32GB ROM, it's worth it
For a NZD$20 fix, it could be OK
tbh I'd rather not waste my time on one
Link that please?
11hrs for 60% is ok
the xda link wasn't of much help but i somehow managed to get to the chink eMMC reset menu
yeah
zenfone 2 looks like a meme phone
that turns out to be actually shit
How can cm fix issues with atom if the issues are in aosp?
Or do you mean cm fixes issues over stock?
Stock/factory rom
"I bought the Asus Zenphone 2 laser
After 2 months it got a battery glitch where it wouldn't charge. It would detect itself as full at 60% and die at 40% even though android would report the 40% and 60% correctly."
Oh wow
I've had the same problem with G3
Stuck with my Zenfone 2 for almost a year without any news for 6.0 update, the intel chipset was horribly optimized with the software. Not to mention that Asus skin was shit, slow and heavy as fuck.
Never buy Asus phones ever again
Got one with a medicore battery
I had a Zenfone 2. Out of the box the screen and body had weird alignment issues. When thing felt very cheap. Then there was the bloat and shitty Intel processor. Then there was being stuck on lollipop forever. Then the screen died. Then there were no customer service reps who spoke English natively and then there were the cryptic emails asking for my credit card number to have on file in case I didn't send in my broken phone after they issued a replacement. Then the replacement broke too.
Fuck Asus.
Battery rebooted continiously at 10% to 5%
