and i want to spend as little money as possibru <$30
righto
one sec
i know fiio e10k is gud and i actually have one as reference but I'm buying stocking stuffers for the fams
inb4 cheapskate
SMSL dac/amps > fiio
if you can find any usb DACs that have the PCM2704 chip that have capacitors that keep your headphones from dying, theyre a good buy
i'd take one with a mini or printer-type usb port and on that property alone vs microusb
english pls
i'll take a look at smsl thx
oh no SMSL dacs arent under 30
i was just shitposting about your e10k
yeah seems like the better dacs have that chip
better *cheap* DACs [fixed]
yeah its quite a good chip
Texas Instruments
but i was wondering about alternatives
There is some Sabre DAC chip which apparently god tier but i can only find them as a unit for around 40 USD
if you want a good solution, look into the Behringer UCA 222
its an audio interface but that may be helpful
I'll upgrade to English; given equivalent usb DACs, I would steer towards devices with more robust connection options, such as mini-b usb.
how is a mini USB any better than fullsize type A
Micro-USB places a great deal of stock into the two spring-loaded teeth on their connectors, that may fail to lock over time, which I do not like.
micro USB a shit tbh

fullsize type A to type B is most preferred. agreed
