I already have packet tracer

since the stack is all in one shot it's notbad; free shipping and such is nice, but it's still quite a bit to pay fo a stack of dated network gear

anyways the ASA and at least one of the switches will be of legitimate use

couldn't be bothered with command line autism, loonix command line makes sense, as does windows, but cisco feels painfully autistic

Cisco will actually list the commands out for you

so I couldn't concentrate enough in high school

and give you their syntax

and no other devices are going to give you on average

you have to grasp the high level concepts of what you're actually trying to do first; then IOS is literally there to help you get it done. the damn things were built with config management baked in

multiple years of uptime

cisco stuff is mostly made in Hong Kong right
